That was cozy [D]and hey, cheap [G]rent.[C]        [D]  

[G]Frozen bus, cold [C]storage room,
[Am]in a hallway or a [D]glorious [G]room.[C]        [D]  

[C]I am [D]blessed there is no [G]doubt,[C]  
[C]with a safe [D]place to lay [G]down.[C]        [D]  

[G]In a camper, [C]in a van, [Am]in a boat,
in a [D]car, in a [G]truck.[C]        [D]  
In an [G]old chicken coop or [C]in a barn,
[Am]in a tool [D]shed on a [G]farm.[C]        [D]  

[C]My sleeping bag is my [G]sovereign space
[C]and it has [D]been many a [G]place.[C]        [D]  

On the top of a pile of stuff,
in the cab of a five ton truck,
on a couch or on a floor,
hang a curtain and voila a boudoir.

Under a table with the cloth draped down.
What a cozy spot, my nook is found.

Drippy tent, leaky shed,
I've been blessed with a place to lay my head.
